This exciting and extremely important new addition to the service delivery here at Foyle Down Syndrome Trust will commence in January 2021. This project will enhance and improve the ability of our children and young people to understand, express their thoughts ideas and feelings, be understood by others, enhance swallow function and safety, increase school readiness skills, improve vocal quality and fluent speech leading to a greater quality of life, increased independence and greater self esteem.

This project will be delivered by a qualified, HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist who will deliver a specialist Speech and Language programme which will include one to one and group sessions using a user-led and child centred approach.
