The Social and Personal Development programme provides an age appropriate structured platform for children and young people with Down Syndrome. The programmes afford our children and young people new, exciting and often challenging opportunities to learn and develop in a wide range of skills.
The programmes are user led and delivered by our dedicated Social and Personal Development Officer, Christopher Cooper and supported by our team of Volunteers.
We provide a safe, fun and developmental learning environment for all our children and young people to maximise their potential. Participation in all our social, personal and life skills enhancing programmes is encouraged and our children and young people have enjoyed the benefits of developing friendships, mastering the ability to initiate, discover, learn and play.
